This Edwardian Limoges covered tureen was crafted in France by J. Pouyat around 1905–1915. The porcelain body is bright white, framed with a green Greek key border and rich gold detailing, and finished with ornate rococo-style gilded handles and finial. It carries both the J.P.L. FRANCE and Pouyat Limoges marks, along with an importer’s wreath stamp, showing it was produced for the American market during the golden age of Limoges export porcelain. Over 100 years old, this tureen shows its age with gilt wear on the handles and rim, plus some thinning along the band, but no cracks or chips. A striking neoclassical serving piece for the table or a statement display for collectors of fine Edwardian porcelain
