Edme and Esyllte Anthropologie 2005 Teal Ruffled Skirt full with slip sz 10

I always called this my cupcake skirt! It’s got layers and layers of all kinds of ruffles: lace edges and asymmetric and heaps and heaps of layers and volume and all in monochromatic TEAL. It’s fully lined with a gorgeous slip edged in loop de loop lace trim. It’s just so beautiful. A statement piece for sure, and from the age when Anthropologie dug into details details details to make you feel so special when you wore one of their pieces. Not that they don’t now, but, it was really at its height in the early 2000s when I bought this skirt in SoHo. There are two small areas where some glue and a tiny amount of sparkle from my daughter’s birthday party landed. It could definitely come off with some work, but, I stain treated it and it has t come off yet. I don’t think it affects the appearance of the skirt AT ALL because there are so many ruffles but you gots to know the defects! Pictures above. Edme & Esyllte sz 10. I
