These are high-quality ankle boots made to be lightweight and comfortable for everyday use. They were extremely popular and originally retailed for as high as $89 before finally selling out and going out of stock everywhere, and they are no longer made by Eastland. This pair was worn exactly one time and is still in practically brand-new condition. There are only the very slightest signs of use along the sides and bottom, but to most eyes they would appear to have never been worn. They still have that fresh out-of-the-box new shoe smell.
