I’ve been messaged saying I stole the Ratatouille ear design.I wanted to make things clear.I have seen them all over the internet,like pictured above.I bought a few pairs of them myself from multiple people over the years and never felt they were exactly what I wanted so I made my own pair.I made them my own,by using different material, and adding things that were not available on any of the ears I had bought (three pairs from three different shops) -continues in comments

itsmeleslieruby I loved making them so much I decided to sell them. I dont know who originally created them (like I said they were all over the internet when I discovered them) I did purchase from cat creations but she was the second person out of 3 I purchased from. Like I said I’ve seen these sold by multiple people please Feel free to look at the other shops as well and see their ears!

2ndchancebtq @itsmeleslieruby She has been making them for years, which is why she’s sold over 1400 ears on Etsy. The other people that “took” her creative idea actually changed some pieces of it (using a wooden spoon as an accent) however yours looks exactly the same except you are using some type of “fur”.

itsmeleslieruby @2ndchancebtq I found them about 2018/2019&bought them.Then I got from ur friend months later.The 2ears look exactly alike except a different material.I haven’t had ur friends in over a year bc i threw them out. Her shop was closed so I bought from someone else,again exact same design but different material.I have changed the design a bit including the hat,mouse inside&color.Like I said the 3 that I purchased had the exact same design they just weren’t 100% what I wanted,so I made my own

melyy_lva13 @2ndchancebtq @itsmeleslieruby I'd just like to point out that Remy is rat with "mouse ears".The design is basic. It's obvious that any creator would make the ears "mouse like" & add a chef hat since HE'S A CHEF & the mouse within is a given SINCE THAT'S HOW IT WAS ON THE FILM.

melyy_lva13 @2ndchancebtq @itsmeleslieruby People need to stop criticizing other creators. It's a basic/obvious to go to design not a one of a kind.Put random creators in a room, tell them to design a set of Remy ears & I'm sure many will come up with this design.Keep on creating.If you're inspired by others ears just be sure to mention that.
