Early Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Triple Amethyst Brooch Marked MR Mexico This is an early amethyst brooch, likely from Taxco, Mexico. This sterling silver vintage brooch has three truly beautiful old, well-matched amethysts in a traditional Mexican floral setting, a style associated with Mid-Century Mexican jewelry. The artisan hallmark says "MR" in a square cartouche. The lack of other marks likely dates it to the 1930s or 1940s. Measurements:  2 3/8" L x 1 1/4" W x 13/16" D Condition:  Excellent vintage condition. No noticed chips, cracks, scuffs, blemishes or damage. Normal wear for age. Please see all photos.
