Early ~ Extremely well made ~ Vintage ~ Hand wrought ~ Mexican /taxco silver pin /brooch ~ hand holding carved amethyst tulip ~ The urn shape body is made of raised repousse work ~ Pin has rollover clasp on backside ~ Marked Mexican Silver on backside . Dates 1940s , this design that was used in both William Spratling and Fred Davis pieces . Materials : Sterling silver amethyst Measurements : Pin is 2 inches x 2 1/4 inches max width Weighs 19 grams on my weighing scale. Condition : Overall good old condition with some minor age related wear ~ heavy age patina /silver darkening ,comes with age and use ~Can see a chip to the stone (please see photos for details ).
