Incredible unbranded photo fold-out from the early years of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), likely produced between 1961 and 1965. Features 36 captioned images across both sides, covering mission milestones, lab construction, spacecraft assembly, and groundbreaking work on Explorer, Nimbus, Relay, and the Interplanetary Monitoring Platform (IMP).
No publication markings, logos, or dates appear — but every caption and image traces directly to Goddard’s early history. Mentions the March 16, 1961 dedication ceremony, GSFC’s expanding labs, simulation facilities, VIP tours by Rep. Joseph Karth, and equipment built for Earth-Moon environmental study. This may have been printed internally or by a private contractor for limited VIP or congressional use — a highly unusual and visually rich artifact.
Folded size 9" x 6" fully opened 12" x 18"
