Early 20th Century Wrought Iron and Brass Table Cigar Cutter by A.V. Zschock

Early 20th century hammered iron and brass tabletop cigar gutter in the form of a full-bodied parrot on a perch attached to a leaf. Made of painted iron with a brass head, the parrots beak clips the tip of a cigar with the use of the feather on top of the head. The leaf which doubles as an ashtray is marked along the edge "A.V. Zschock" to one side "Gladenbeck" to the other. Measurements are in photos. There is surface wear on paint consistent with age and use, but overall excellent condition.
