Eames Era Mid Century Modern MCM Molded Plywood Chair An iconic piece of mid-century modern Eames era molded plywood chair. This DCW Chair is crafted from molded plywood, offering both comfort and style. • Molded Plywood Construction • Iconic Mid-Century Design • Comfortable & Stylish • Durable Build • No maker mark but match those crafted for Herman Miller by Ray & Charles Eames. One chair did have an auction house tag on it. None of the chairs are marked. The hardware on the chairs would be 50 to 60's era. The chairs were purchased in damaged condition with splintered wood and large chips. I elected to have restoration work done one one as opposed to selling them as is. The chips were treated with wood filler, splinters repaired with wood glue. The chairs were originally matte black, or possibly a type of wood dye treatment. The chair was refinished in gloss black which conceals, to a surprising degree, the repairs that were made, so much so that they are hard to capture in photos. Chair ship partially assembled with original hardware. Condition: Pre-Owned Good
