EXTREMELY RARE Harry & David Dessert Plate Poinsettia Plaid Pattern 8"

These are the only 4 plates ever produced in this pattern! These porcelain dessert plates were a product concept that never went into production. As such, these are extremely rare, with these 4 plates (sold individually) being the only ones to be in existence. Harry & David featured the Poinsettia Plaid pattern in their 2005 holiday offerings, but they only produced and sold the nesting teapot / teacup / saucer combo. The proposed inclusion of a dessert plate with the tea set was decided against, meaning the four plates that had been created during the product concept & review phase were the only ones ever made. (See my other add for complete nesting saucer, cup, and teapot sets from this same product line & pattern.) I worked for H&D in 2005 and picked these up at an exclusive sale for employees only. They have been in storage since then and have never been used. The rim of the plate has a red & gold poinsettia motif designed in block style, and the plate center features a delicate lattice of tiny holly leaves and poinsettias. I have a total of four plates, but since they match the "tea for one" set, I'm selling them singly.
