EVUC Vntg 1940's Evans Carryall/Compact/Cigarette Case, Original Box, 5.5"x3"

Excellent Vintage Condition. Vintage 1940's Evans carryall/compact/cigarette case with original plastic sleeve and box. Gold-tone ribbed metal case with clear rhinestone decorative accent and gold-tone chain handle. Sturdy hinge, clasp and components. Be sure to view all photos to appreciate this piece. A lady of that era could fit everything in the case she needed for an evening out: powder & puff, lipstick, cigarettes, lighter, and a few bills. When opened, the bottom includes a spring/flip-top powder well (still with a little powder remaining), powder puff in almost new condition, lipstick case clip, and a middle section for an item of her choice. Behind the mirror are 2 sections perfect for cigarettes, a lighter, and maybe a few bills. Cases from this brand were sold in better jewelry and department stores, and expensive pieces in their day (~$20). Measures: 5-1/2" Long x 3-1/8" Wide x 7/8" Deep, each half being 3/8" Deep plus hinge. Excellent condition as rarely used. See "Evans" mark on the powder lid. From illness/smoke/pet-free home.
