Fronted by vocalist, songwriter and guitar virtuoso Alvin Lee; most of there other woth centeres itself around Blues Rock. However I feel the band went in a diffrent direction on this recording. There is still a blues feelling in the work here, but it also sounds like experemental, progressive rock. Many songs fade in and out with the focal piont being Alvin Lee, specificly the title track sounds very diffrent than that of the bands other work. As a fan of the band I ws blown away by this album, however those olooking for the signiture sound of Ten Years After may want to start with some of there later more well known work.
