Swooning again over this Rare service piece in the Calvados pattern. Heavy rich embossed raised gold design, total Luxury. Made by Gerard, Dufraisseix & Abbot (GDA) of the Limoges region of France. Back stamp markings: GDA France, Ch. Haviland Limoges. Antique item. Imported from France. GDA dates this between 1900 - 1941. Imagine how it must have felt being served off of such opulent porcelain during The Great Depression! This piece is flawless except for 1 possibly 2 micro dots showing loss of gold, circled in Red, incredibly impressive given her age.
