EUC OneKid Road Coat Car Seat Safety Coat "Transition" Style (With Fold Up Hood)

OneKid designs coats that solve the conundrum: How do I keep my child warm in the cold weather -- and cold car -- when you're not supposed to let children wear bulky jackets in their car seats? OneKid's Road Coat series have zip-apart, thin, inner layers that keep children warm -- no more loosening their car-seat straps to accomodate jacket bulk. This listing is for Onekid's "Road Coat Transition," which is its lightest weight coat. While it can be worn in weather as cold as 30 degrees F/0C, it's more of a Fall and Spring coat. Its exterior is a polyester shell that is high-density and repels wind and water. It has a soft, quilted, jersey lining throughout, including the sleeves and pockets. Elastic sleeve cuffs and waist hem keeps cold out. There's also a high neck that hides a packable (attached) hood in the back. (NOTE: The hood is not insulated and is half-elastic.) In the front, the jacket has double zippers. Unzip the first zipper to uncover the coat's inner layer. This is the layer you buckle the car-seat straps over. This layer has an anti-slip surface to prevent those straps and buckles from slipping. It also has red sewing to show where the chest buckle should go. You can also open the collar (using velcro) to let the harness strap lay flat on the shoulder. The jacket is machine washable and packs down easily. It's approved by CPST (Child Passenger Safety Technician) standards. This jacket is in excellent condition. The hood has never been used. Retails for $65.
