EUC Asterix and the Laurel Wreath -originally a French comic,was translated to English. Dargaud (Hodder & Stoughton) Edition - Printed in 1980. Written by Rene Goscinny. Art by Albert Uderzo. Chief Vitalastatistix has rashly bet his brother-in-law, the infuriating show-off Homeopathix, that he can get ahold of Caesar's laurel wreath to season a stew. Of course it's now up to Astrix and Obelix to go to Rome, find the wreath, and bring it back for the promised dinner. Can they save Vitalastatistix's honor? Softcover, 8 1/2-in. x 11-in., 48 pages, full color.
This has a protective cover. Only flaws are the price written in pencil on first page (see third photo) . Very minor corner crease on cover through page 8.
