However based on measurements and fit, I would liken it to a modern size 14. Flat measured, pit to pit is 21" Waist is 18.5" approx. As I was dressing my mannequin, i ripped the dress at the seam. I had no idea there were seams in back because they were hidden so well. It can absolutely be repaired because the fabric was not damaged, just pulled apart. I cannot even mend a sock, otherwise I would repair it prior to selling.
