AWESOME Collectible EASTMAN Vintage Industrial Bobbin/Spool! 3" diameter x 4" high, stamped with 'Eastman' and '1-37'. Composite and wood. These old bobbins were used in New England weaving mills to produce silks and other fine cloth. Not sure where used but New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts all have a rich and interesting history of manufacturing both the spools and textiles. 19th to early 20th century based on research. Would be an awesome addition to a textile themed collection!
