Description: From the artist's "deep space" jar series inspired by the cosmos, this one of a kind hand blown art glass jar was made using multiple layers and colors of glass. With royal purple on the inner layers, and a spacey mix of magical silver blue and iris gold outside, the overall color is challenging to capture in pictures. By design, a crackle technique was used resulting in spectacular lightning patterns throughout the piece that let stunning amethyst light through and add texture to the surface. Midnight to cobalt to light blue and gold along with silvery greens in depth of layers creates an entire universe of galactic complexity. With a wide mouth and taller capacity, this piece features a flattened, fire-polished bottom stamped hot with the artist's initial. This unique, sturdy jar was made to last.
