Droll Designs 10" diameter plate. Multicolor. "Lang de Boeuf - (to purge melancholy)" in script at top of plate. Flowers with unusually shaped leaves on bottom of plate. Not sure of the meaning but perhaps these are ox tongue flowers referring to the text? Multicolor and hand painted, painted signature on back. Rare - could not find this design online or on Droll Designs website. There is a chip on the rim, approximately 2mm. Otherwise, in very good condition. Food safe - Microwave safe - Dishwasher safe
