We bought this for our home theater in 2002. We lived in that house for 2 years and used it occasionally. Since that move, we never had another theater room and did not use. It does work (see video). This lamp based projector is capable of displaying 1,100 Lumens at its brightest setting with a native resolution of 1024x768 . The internal DLP technology touts higher contrast, less visible pixels and more portability. This projector was first available for purchase in January 2002 and has been discontinued by Dream Vision.
