Dragonfly Monoprint

Delicate and Graceful Dragonfly Monoprint, 1 in a Series of 2. Signed by the artist (me!). Rendered in turquoise blue, crimson red, a bit of green and softly metallic gold for the gossamer wings (difficult to capture in photos). This print was made using a carved/etched wood block overlaid with wispy grasses picked from the desert then hand inked and rolled thru an etching press on heavy (140 lb.) watercolor paper. This process produces an embossed surface with good relief. Image comes with bevel-cut black matte and white backer board in a clear plastic protective sleeve. Image is 6.5" x 4.5"; matte is 8" x 10". Ready and waiting to be framed to compliment your personal style - looks great coupled with the Beaded Lizard print, also here in my closet!
