Dr. Martens MIE Teardrop Cutout Vintage Mary Janes. Made in England. Smooth white leather with teardrop cutouts on toes. These single strap flat Mary Janes are in GREAT vintage CONDITION❣️ In my opinion, it looks like they were worn just a few times, and then tossed into the back of someone’s closet for years. Leather is still firm and needs to be broken in. Appears only one buckle hole on straps was ever used. Some scuff marks. Clean inside and out! Insoles measure approximately 9 inches.
UK size 4, equivalent to US women’s six, EU 37.

I’m assuming you’ve worn this brand for a while now? Can I ask, besides weight, are the Mary Jane styles as stable as a low bootie seems to be? I wore them for 1st time yesterday & they were so much better than tennis shoes. But I also have a lot of $$$ hdw in my foot & crappy knees, back problems. I’m desperate to find shoes I can wear daily. I hate to bother you w a bunch of questions— but I figure who wear them are the best source of knowledge

@amygregory548 Hi there. I’ll try to help as much as I can. This pair is very light weight compared to most docs. As far as comfort goes, I’ve added different, more cushiony, supportive insoles to some of my own shoes. I haven’t personally worn this style, I wear boots in the winter and sandals all summer.

@kellykw68 oh sweetheart you didn’t have to do that!!! I’ll wear socks anyway. There’s just something so timeless about this particular pair that is endearing! Have you ever worn vintage/previously worn shoes? I only ask, because—eh 🤦🏼♀️😂 I’ve only had 6 surgeries on my left foot, 1 on right. 2 torn meniscus surgeries and both knees tore again. And then my back is a mess from all of the above 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
