Pre-owned with signs of wear. The exterior is in good condition. The red leather lining is peeling. For experienced bag rehabilitators, the lining can be corrected, but it will be a lot of work. The condition of the lining does not affect the durability or attractiveness of the bag, and it is still perfectly functional. There is a little bit of ball-point ink in the bottom of the lining . The exterior of the bag shows evidence of wear, mostly on the bottom corners. The matching wallet shows wear as well. It’s a fabulous bag. The Florentine leather is soft and supple, making for a perfect Hobo silhouette. The hardware is jewelry quality. The rings that attach the shoulder strap to the bag is a brushed golden color and the square Dooney logo is a shiny gold. The double tassels are done in black leather and give it a little added flair. This is a great opportunity to have a Dooney & Bourke bag that is no longer made, for a fraction of the original price.
