Love this design. I call it the crossword. The background is a Salmon color, really striking. In really good vintage condition. There are a couple of places where the color has faded, but they are along the edges where the canvas meets the leather trim and one in the midde, but really don't take away from the beauty that still pops oit from the style and color of the bag. see pics.
