Dooney & Bourke All Weather Handbag Satchel, Pebble Grain Navy and Tan, 1980s

CLASSIC Dooney & Bourke All Weather handbag satchel-style, in dark navy and British Tan-- very early 1980s vintage bag! Brand: Dooney & Bourke Description: Gorgeously kept pebbled dark navy leather is on the main body of this D&B bag, trimmed with 'British Tan' on the handles, interior, and outer areas. Each handle can detach (see brass rivets). The main bag compartment (closes with a zipper) has 2 smaller interior compartments-- 1 zippered, and 1 that latches closed with brass rivet + leather strip closure. Has the classic brass duck fob attached to the handles via a leather strip. The bottom of the bag has little brass 'feet' to help with wear. This is a very early 80s bag and so is pre-tag/serial # era (as you can see from photos they were still using some old hardware and logo-ing such as the DB on the interior zipper, no tag, but for this bag they had already started to adopt the 'all weather leather' moniker). Measurements: -11L x 5W at widest bottom x 8 H -Each handle is about 6.5" from body x 6 W, and leather thickness is roughly .75" Condition: Great condition for its age, all zippers & closures work! The pressed edge on the backs of the leather handles are worn as to be expected (pics #4, 6). Some small marks, like pen on an outer trim piece (pic #13), light marking on the bottom of bag (pic #14). Some wear to brass parts and zipper areas (#8, 15), and very small scuff on navy leather (#16). As with all vintage, wear due to age and use is expected
