mariasant Hi. It is SO true. It’s liberating to get rid of things:) I donate a lot of stuff also but it’s nice to make a little $ too. As far as low balls go, I can’t believe people actually offer 30% of my asking price. If I can’t offer a reasonable $ , I don’t buy it. Happy 2020!!

laraswardrobe @hollyaynshobby There is no room for walking on eggshells if you want to sell things online as a business. I conduct myself as a business woman(that marketing background though!). I do my research, I set up, stage photos, edit, create catchy titles and blurbs.I conduct analysis about what sells best when/where. Gotta find that niche and work it! I even branded myself on here! Selling online is how I pay my bills 100%. Not here for trades and to screw around.

laraswardrobe @mariasant I tend to keep sending them the same offer despite their countering of super low prices. Sometimes they go away after that. If so thats not someone whose business I want.

mariasant @laraswardrobe Posh promotes itself as “70% off retail” so the low ballers go for it!! However, Posh does NOT reduced their fee. Do you sell on any other platforms? I don’t have much to sell so I never explored selling on other platforms.

laraswardrobe @mariasant I originally started on E-bay back in the day. I still do use E-bay for certain items. I use Me.rca.ri, D.ep.op and this. For local offerup and Facebook Marketplace. SOMETIMES craigslist. Depends on item.

mariasant @laraswardrobe yes. I’ve heard of people that sell on Facebook marketplace for local sales and offerup for household items. But they meet the buyer at a different location (not their home). I’ve sold on Craigslist but the placed the items out in the driveway . I’ve purchased on eBay and the mailing $ was similar to Posh. Great to hear you are doing well on sales:) Happy 2020!
