The "Aisia" metallic mesh and crystal platform sandals are from the Donald J. Pliner 2005 collection. Crafted by artisans in Spain, these beautiful and feminine looking mule sandals feature a metallic mesh elastic vamp with a black and crystal stone ornament, soft kid leather lined insole with built-in heel cushion for comfort, and a wooden heel. DESIGNER BACKGROUND NOTE: From the Donald J. Pliner brand's beginnings in 1989, it championed its Italian-made shoe lines and also subsequent product lines made in Spain. However, to stay competitive after the 2008 recession, the brand shifted most of its production to China after 2010 and sold a majority stake to Castanea Partners in 2011. By 2019, Castanea Partners sold the company to Studio H 33, ending Donald J. Pliner's legacy with his eponymous company. SIZING: this US size 9 runs large and is comparable to a size 9.5. Measure the soles of your feet and compare it to the below listed measurement (and also see photos) to ensure accurate fit. New; never worn. Comes with original shoebox (mislabeled Size 9.5).
