The cropped long sleeve top features a white chest with a glittery, sparkly blue outline of a bird, a dove, I believe. The light blue portions are a silky satin, the white is soft, thick, & stretchy & some of the black material like on the shoulder area & the lower arm is a holey jersey type fabric. The skirt has an elastic waist & is beautifully pleated with the blue satin & a thick black material, but the back of the skirt is not pleated & is more of a smooth A line cut. The pom poms are made of shiny silver & black strands & complete the outfit. This 3pc set is in amazing condition & I have noticed that the newer version of this particular costume has changed a bit. The top looks about the same, but the skirt has gone from the traditional pleated cheer skirt to a new style, which is more of a smooth, tight mini skirt that cheerleaders are wearing now. Both are adorable, though I feel the pleats add a playfulness the newer style is lacking. I have this fun costume in size large, but I feel it's a tiny bit on the smaller side or maybe I just have thick arms?🤔I did try this on when I got it & for me, everything fit great & was comfortable except the sleeves were too tight on me, so I'm passing it along.
