The 1460 8-eye boot is the Original Dr. Martens boot, born 1st April 1960 — and named after the date. Known for its signature yellow welt stitching, grooved air-cushioned sole, and signed heel loop, it started at the feet of postal workers before it found its way to headline stages worldwide. We've made this super-soft version of the classic 8-eye boot from Virginia leather with a narrower fit for comfort from the first wear. Footbed - Slimmer and a more tapered shape These are in pre-worn shape, but were not worn many times, just enough to break them in a bit really. The sole and heels are still in great condition - see the images. *Please note - the leather on one shoe did get a little warped - but doesn’t affect the wear and not that noticeable on black leather while wearing.
