Distressed Citizens of Humanity jeans

Very distressed, not sure if done before purchase or if it is from wear. Please inspect pictures closely I don’t want anyone to be surprised with what they get. It appears these were somehow altered I don’t remember it would’ve been a long time ago. Inseam measures 31 inches with tape measure. Selling these very discounted because they are distressed and I’m not sure how they got that way could be factory or wear.
