torridtreasures @angellily03 The waist is about 19" across and it's about 39" from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the skirt. According to the torrid size chart, a size 16 should fit a bust 44-46", waist 38-40", and hips 48-50".

torridtreasures @angellily03 It works in that you can pull the lace tighter through the grommets. But the fabric underneath would then pucker because even though it works, I think it's meant to be decorative.

torridtreasures @angellily03 You could also try looking for the same dress but under the brand Hot Topic (they're the same company as Torrid). They used to release a lot of collections in straight sizes at Hot Topic and then plus sizes at Torrid. You might have better luck finding a smaller size under the Hot Topic Brand.
