Bag comes exactly as pictured from a non smoker and pet free home. The leather is nearly perfect, no rubbing on corners of bag or any truly visible "wear” on it. Yes I have owned this bag for a very long time but I only used it a day or two each month over the years whenever I would go somewhere that I needed a medium size bag and that is how it has stayed in such perfect condition, inside and out. 🙂 The hardware has some very faint hairline scratches that can probably be buffed out with brass polish or something of that nature.
