Up for sale is a new and sealed My Digi Pet electronic game. Now to start, I want to say I bought a few of these-one for my nephew, one for myself to try, and a few to sell if they turned out to be pretty nice. I grew up in the era of the first generation of digital pets. I was given a generic version and I LOVED it. I have since gifted the same generic version to my nephew and he loves it. So when I saw these, I wondered if they would be nice or lousy. You never know nowadays. I have to say I was fairly impressed. There are over 100 characters to choose from (they say pets, but some are vehicles like cars, or boats, and there are other fun animals like a dolphin and butterfly. There were some I couldn't figure out what they were shaped like, but there were still plenty I thought were cute.) There are different activities you have to perform throughout the day: feeding, cleaning up after it, teaching it, having it play different games, and there is a type of puzzle game which I haven't figured out yet lol. So overall, I have to say I think this would be a good toy for a child and I wouldn't feel bad selling it knowing it wasn't a junky item that didn't really do anything and I am going to be sending one to my nephew.
