fun_and_lovely @lawgirl101 sure thing - I just want to make I understand where do you want me to measure the hip since I suspects that will vary by height of the person? Is there a standard way to measure the hip? Or approximate hip would be fine?Do you also want waist?

lawgirl101 @fun_and_lovely - Thanks for responding. In the first photo, it looks like there might be a curved seam, so maybe about a couple inches above that? In a straight dress, I’d say the widest area but this looks to have a but of a straight drop but also slight a-line or flow to it.

fun_and_lovely @lawgirl101 I totally hear ya. This dress is only straight at the top. There’s lower half is an A-line (not straight). There’s a small seam you can see near the waist, the dress then has a very subtle A-shaped flare. I just woke up (7:30am PT) - I’ll measure it soon :)

fun_and_lovely @lawgirl101 I also just looked up the DVF size info chart and it shows for a size 14 dress the following measurements: Bust 41 in, Waist 34in, Hip 44in.

fun_and_lovely It says these are taken by measuring around each body area so that makes sense that they are about double what I measured laying flat on a single side @lawgirl101

lawgirl101 @fun_and_lovely - Thanks so much. As they pushed the wedding until October, I guess I am waited as I have dropped about 25 lbs at this point so - from the I’m worried it’s too small to it would likely be too loose stage. Thanks for checking back with me.
