“Devon” Pattern 9” Red & White Scenic Dinner Plate

This lovely plate, made by Mayer China is actually piece of restaurant ware. With the feel and weight of ironstone, it was often manufactured for restaurants and hotels. Not sure of the date, but this plate is sturdy and has served many meals. There is a good chip on the underside of the rim, almost invisible from the front. I used this as decoration on the wall.
