Designer by Nardis of Dallas Vintage 1970s Suit - Wrap Skirt and Jacket

"Separate Thoughts" is a vintage clothing label from Nardis of Dallas, known for creating women's apparel like blazers, suits, skirts, and sweaters, 1960s through 1980s. Take a look at this beautiful suit and notice how all of the plaid matches perfectly! Side seams disappear, pockets blend in and the raglan sleeves are absolutely symmetric All signs of a well-made, expensive garment Fringed edging on hems and pockets Blazer ~ open front 3/4 length sleeves with turn-back cuffs notched collar front pockets raglan sleeves underarm to underarm; 20" length, from neck to hem ~ 27" Skirt ~ wrap with two buttons (could be adjusted by moving the buttons) one pocket waistband below knee waist ~ 14" length ~ 30" Condition is excellent, like new Nardis was the official supplier of clothing to the Dick Van Dyke Show in the early 1960s, so you might have seen some of their clothes on Mary Tyler Moore and Rose Marie.
