These coats retail for $900: this is a Poshmark Treasure of a find! And as much as this was designed for outdoor sports, it can also compete with the style of a designer day to day puffy coat for those who live in colder climates. This is a flattering and fabulous down coat: the shiny quality of the coating is not as evident in all lights, but it is enough to give this ski jacket a stylistic edge that is a thrill when compared to the utilitarian design of standard, sporty, cold weather gear. The term “quiet luxury” is perfect here: add some fit and flare ski pants and you’ve got a high-functioning, cold weather outfit that is flattering, subtle, warm and beautiful. The down is soft and thin, creating a lighter “puffy coat” and a smoother silhouette that adjusts and tightens along the bottom hip seam to keep out the snow and the wind while also hugging your curves exactly where yours may be. The back is slightly lower than the front to keep you dry if you fall and to accentuate your individual shape front to back. Fit: I am an 8/10 on top: an 8 in Rag and Bone and J.Crew and a 10 in Akris and other higher priced designers- this doesn’t foot because it is a truer 10.
