DEPARTMENT 56 - DICKEN'S VILLAGE SHOPS "CANDLES/ROOMS FOR LET" Condition: Excellent Introduced 1984 Retired 1988 This building is one of the original seven buildings introducing what is known as the Heritage Village Collection Handpainted porcelain shop "Candles/Rooms for Let" which was one of the shops in the Dicken's Village Shop series (marked on bottom "1984") The product is a medium-sized, asymmetrical ceramic and porcelain Christmas village produced by Department 56. It features an all-over multicolor hand-painted finish and depicts a Victorian-era shop called the Candle Shop from the Shops of Dickens Village collection. The village is suitable for furniture and is intended for teens, adults, and kids. It was manufactured in Taiwan in 1984 and is retired. The product comes in a boxed set of two and is an original, not a reproduction.
