The pink version of the iconic Richard Tyler red dress, which was inspired by breast cancer survivor and Delta flight attendant Alice Ramsey. Ramsey came up with the idea in 2005, and the dress was first worn by her in October 2007 to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). This tradition expanded, with flight attendants and other employees wearing pink in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month to support BCRF fundraising.
