This is a Dell 8X DVD/24X CD Optical Drive for Inspiron and Latitude laptops produced in the late 90s and early 00s such as the C Series. This is a slide in unit and comes with a carry case. This reads CD-ROM and DVDs but it does not have any burning capability. This drive is in good working order and physical condition. It is fully tested and comes from a unit that had a broken display.
