Decorative Ghanaian Tribal Mask (on Stand)

Unique decorative tribal mask from Ghana in black and gold tones with colorful bead accents. This mask is made of carved wood & measures approximately 11.5” X 12.5.” It is currently displayed on a stand for viewing. Tribal masks are frequently characterized as cultural artifacts that were used in various ceremonies, rituals &/or dances to represent spirits, ancestors &/or Deities. This example is ornamented with small pieces of brass, and red, blue & yellow seed beads. It is the perfect item to add cultural interest to your home. It is in good condition & still with tag ( see pics). Note: there is a small brass shard missing from the right eye. It can easily be substituted with a golden piece of metal or paint.
