Deadstock Briggs Sailcloth Shorts.  Very coastal grandma culotte shorts with full legs that skew skirt like when wearing. Tight but very stretchy waist with generous leg width will easily give you an hourglass shape. Two deep side pockets.  Condition: NWT that has been stored for away safely for decades. The paper tag got disconnected from the plastic bit while in my storage (after these photos) but I'll ship it altogether so you have the full effect. Made in America 65% Polyester 35% Cotton Vintage size 14 will work for a modern size small to medium.  Measurements: ~12" flat across waist (stretches to maximum 16.5" flat across waist) ~13" rise~10" rise ~23" overall length
