bubblydesert50 @shelbywoowf Thx for your interest! I just brought 3 of my DY Rings into our local DY Jewelry store to be resized! IF they are not Authentic they won’t size them! So, based upon their decision I can say they are Authentic!

bubblydesert50 @kellysugrue What does Poshmark do IF they say it is not Authentic? Or what proves or disproves it’s Authenticity? I am not an expert in determining the Authenticity of DY Jeselry! However, I am very knowledgeable in determining the authenticity of Pandora Charms & 14k Gold! What does Poshmark do to Authenticate DY?

kellysugrue @bubblydesert50 they have jewelers who check the stones, diamonds, logos, etc. to verify it’s authentic. If not, it goes back to seller

bubblydesert50 @kellysugrue Understand but I heard that they will send back but never GIVE a REASON WHY! ? I am bringing in 3 of my DY rings Tomorrow afternoon to be authenticated. And, if possible have them appraised as well! I’m new to DY so I need to learn as much as I can! A good friend of mine asked me for help listing them. I can tell you, that I have sold a few over $500 that never came back to me! So, I’m going to find out as much as I can! Thx for your interest! Appreciate!

bubblydesert50 @kellysugrue Yes I understand but if a Seller is not aware they are selling a Faux, seller gets it back from Posh w NO REASON? IMO the Seller learns nothing! I guess my point is “Anyone can say “It’s Faux” & not give a Reason! It’s great to have “so called “ knowledgeable” people authenticating, but if there is NO REASON what good is that? I need to be given a detailed reason! And bc Poshmark does not? Leaves me wondering if this “Authenticating” is a hit or miss! Anyone can say, it’s Faux

odaskalova @bubblydesert50 you should hope. please authenticate them and have prove of it posted here. As you selling them under the minimum of amount Posh would authenticate. If your won't, and buyer will it themselve within 3 days after recieve he may open return case. I don't think you want it

odaskalova @bubblydesert50 you might have better luck to sell if you have proof of authentification. You choice for what price. its for yours and buyer protection. this platform like any others planty of counterfeit, and low prices under 500 for high-end stuff and usually more pricey items is rizing buyers questions. its sellers responcibility to make sure they sells authentic.

bubblydesert50 @odaskalova I’ve been to two Jewelry stores to try & Authenticate! The one was not an authorized DY Dealer! The 2nd Store was! They told me that they will not size a Faux DY ring! I brought 3 in & based on that they led me to believe they were authentic! Also, I’ve sold other DY in the past & over $700 & I’ve not gotten any back!

I usually go trough comments if I like something, but not sure. ecause of a price, and I see that people asking questions, I would ask. and if seller saying words like I hope, Im not sure it may stops your sale just saying.

Short of getting Appraisals I do not know how to authenticate a DY & I’ve asked other DY sellers & no one has an answer! I sell brb

odaskalova @bubblydesert50 But in a case you selling not yours personal, and unknownnof origin, you can use an autorozed app " Authentic Detective"( in 1 day) or jewerly stores, like you did My point is, that if you dont sound sure. and buyer, would decide to take a risk and check it after buying, if non authentic, it would be an issue.

bubblydesert50 @odaskalova I’m not familiar with Authentic Detective! Looks interesting, but Like many other similar Apps they don’t list DY! Of all the items I have Collected & listed & Sold? I’ve never had an issue authenticating anything! There is only one I don’t know as much as I should! I LOVE Judith Leiber Crystal Bags! The hallmarks are vivid! Nothing Sloppy! Hallmarks are easy to read!
