Dansko size 39 or 8.5/9 women’s Perfect fit and comfortable I tacked the leather strap on the side as pictured because I didn’t like how long they were. I can easily undo the thread if you prefer but be aware that they are for those with sturdier ankles (thicker). There is a small elastic on the inner side so they have some give when the Velcro straps are in place. I never had to undo the ankle straps but I only wore them once or twice
