Is it wide in the toe or wide in general? I’ve heard so many mixed things about dansko sizing.

So I have pretty wide feet. For example, I like Altras—they’re a good width for me.
These ones are certainly wide, and I think it’s because they’re a large 39.
The issue with Dansko is that because they’re hand-made, they’re highly variable. Hah, I’m probably not selling them! 🤣
I have another pair of 39 wide, and they’re just fine for me. 🤷🏼♀️
