laurenmermaid33 daughter is about to turn 7, short and thin. will a medium in this likely be big? does it run big, small, or true to size?

kdubrosky @laurenmermaid33 I just added a pic of the size chart, if you wanted to measure your daughter and compare. My daughter was wearing a size 7/8 when she wore this. I hope that helps!
