Prom Dress" is one of the *four dolls in the Saturday Evening Post Cover Girls Collection inspired by Norman Rockwell and the art he created for the magazine covers. This artwork, depicting the young lady trying on her prom dress, was the cover for March 19, 1949. This 17-inch doll, issued in 1987, is made of bisque porcelain and has delicately hand painted detail. She is dressed in denim dungarees and an oversized plaid shirt along with bobby socks and penny loafers. Original issue price was $130. This doll is in excellent condition and comes with her original box a Certificate of Ownership. Comes from a smoke free home.
