@pairofaces from the second I posted my boots I’ve got sooooo many scam messages- sorry I was a little short with my answer 🫣. I’m not sure where the pressure point is. I can take a close-up picture and send it to you if you describe where that area is on the boot.

@pairofaces I just added two new photos to the post. I think the area you are seeing is actually where the stitches are which does make it look split. My husband confirmed they were re-soled. Yes- the crocodile boots are great!!! A foot surgery has made it necessary to say good to good looking boots and hello to ugly footwear 😆

that sucks (surgery) I once had over 100 pairs, but when my sister diagnosed with stage 4 cancer without insurance I was parted with my boots to pay for her chemo. Sure I miss my boots, but I miss my sister 1000x more than them (she lost her battle at age 46) anyhow. I'll revisit these tomorrow, thank you!

@lilyackman I was typing that on poshmark phone app without reading glasses, just read it back, I meant to say was I had to part with...either way still sad. Took 21+ years to have that collection and less than a year for cancer to take my sister. Back to this-these boots are nice and I might make an offer tomorrow-thank you

I wanted you to know, I reached out to my friend at Lucchese about your other pair. Here's what he told me: These boots are made from Giant Alligator and Buffalo leather on the shafts. They are constructed with a H toe and a number 3 toe. These boots were made in our San Antonio factory, dating them back to around 1986 and possibly earlier. They retailed for $1399 when released.

@lilyackman I believe you can adjust the price both up and down. Honestly I just couldn't offer what I feel you should get out of them. They're beautiful and in my opinion made in a time period Lucchese's quality was at a superior level. Unless you really need to sell them quickly, I'd wait until you get the offer you know is good.

@lilyackman something else ironic and funny (to me with my dry sarcastic wit) I held on to ONE pair, a pair of Lucchese Gators like yours-not as nice-but nice lol and said I MUST have one pair...so when I die you'll have a pair of boots to bury me in. Ended up selling them...I hope to hell I don't die anytime soon, or I'll be wearing socks lol
