This is a personal alarm designed as a deterrent against attack. Pull firmly on the key ring to allow the device to slide open and actuate alarm. Slide the device closed to silence the alarm. Press and hold the button on the top of the device to activate the light. When necessary, open the battery compartment and replace with three LR44 batteries. New in package Retired color
