Día de los Muertos Cameo

Handmade cameo of a young, beautiful zombie woman with Día de los Muertos design on face, cross on forehead. She is pictured in a confused pose, with hands on face and head, as if she died before her time and is slowly adjusting to the afterlife. Could also represent the fleeting nature of youth and beauty. Cameo back is a matte black and relief design is a creamy white, both are constructed with clay and baked with a finishing glaze to give a light pinkish clear sheen. The cameo is affixed to a brass back and secured with an 11 inch black chain on either side, then finished off with an antique brass clasp. Made from recycled jewelry components and materials. As this is a handmade item, no two are alike and slight imperfections and variations in the colour, texture, and appearance enhance the artisan nature of the product.
